WOMEN IN MEDIA 2018
The inaugural, ‘Women in Media Summit – MENA’ aims to become a focal point for women from films, Broadcasting, Radio and Social Media to openly and honestly discuss their professional and personal challenges. The platform is the beginning of a movement to build a global community of men and women who are breaking boundaries, making waves and creating a future in media, where creativity, innovation and talent will be valued far more than gender, ethnicity or age.
Held under the theme, ‘EMPOWERING LEGENDS OF TOMORROW’, The inaugural edition of ‘WOMEN IN MEDIA SUMMIT – MENA’ will Facilitate powerful networking sessions between successful and aspiring Media professionals and discuss the critical importance of gender Inclusion in media to meet the demands of tomorrow’s economy.
The program will feature engaging conference sessions, inspiring keynotes, Hands-on workshops, executive round tables and facilitated networking Sessions.
Against a backdrop of increasing diversity in Media, ‘Women in Media Summit – MENA’ will be held on 28th& 29th of October, 2018 in Dubai. As the region’s only event for women in media-related industries, (Broadcasters, Motion Pictures, Music, Radio & Social Media), the summit aims to bring to life the trends and developments for women in the burgeoning media landscape. The summit agenda lays emphasis on opportunities and challenges for women in the industry with a specific focus on methodologies to close the gender gap in media. The agenda will be coupled with powerful networking sessions designed to forge everlasting relationships between women from industries that encompass media in MENA.
The inaugural, ‘Women In Media Summit – MENA’ promises two full days of knowledge-sharing sessions, learning and networking opportunities with the who’s who of media-based industries.
